Baby Mum Mums

Has anyone ever heard of these? They are a cracker/wafer for babies 4 months and older to chew on. Now to me, just the name of this product makes them sound not credible. But, I gave them a shot and Austin actually liked them. He chowed down two in one sitting! Beware though... if you try them...they get very sticky! I made the mistake of not putting a bib on Austin the first time and he got the sticky crackers all down his shirt. Here are some pictures of his first time feeding himself...

it sounds very similar to "biter biscuits" for infants around the same age. i only gave them to my kids once. they were waaaay to messy. they would have it everywhere and their little hands would end up on their heads, smashing the stuff into their "hair". but i have to admit, they did love it.

Yes, my boys loved those biscuits. They are messy, but nice for them to have SOMETHING to eat when you need them entertained for a few minutes.

regardless of how messy they may be, those pictures sure are adorable! the crackers look at least worth the magic moments for one cute scrapbook page.

I loved when they were the age to have those types of things! We used biter biscuits and zwieback toast. The latter being far less messy, but not nearly as yummy! The key is to plan when you give them to him, right before his bath. :) We used them a lot during dinner prep. I am sure you are loving that he can feed himself something too. That is also a very welcome accomplishment.
